Writing...Writing...Writing...

For those of you wondering about the Chronicles of Surrender, I am hard at work!
In editing process for Echo of Redemption...isn't the cover art yummy?

Writing Cries of Penance...
Slowly but surely. This is going to be one of these stories that doesn't fly out over night...everything has gotten fairly complex...especially all that relationship angst.

But I'm up to the task and very exited about this fifth book!
More, more, more will be revealed about Thomas's twin brother...
More, more, more will be revealed about Thomas's estranged wife and children...
That is not to say Kitten and Garrett are left out of this book. No way. If anything, they're page hogs...all that crazy sex...
And if you've ever wondered about Mistress Morgana...well, there's even more Mistress Morgana...
Oh, and Eva, and Glorianna...
And Jackie...
So much story to tell....whew

It's mind boggling keeping it all straight in my head!

As complex as your characters are, I bet it does become a challenge as time passes and they are involved in more and more ways with one another.

Is this a series that will have more or are we done at five? If I get a vote, I'll go on record for continuing. lol.

Those other characters surely deserve some center stage time as well. right?

Hi Jen,
I agree that some of the secondary characters need to be in the spotlight!

Currently under consideration:
Doctor Psycho
Mistress Morgana
Jackie

I'll be sure to post if it becomes a reality:)

I am SO SO glad you're considering Dr. Psycho's story -- that will be an outstanding read I am sure.

Mistress Morgana and Jackie would be nice too, but Dr. Psycho has fascinated since the very first book.

Can we mount a campaign to get these ideas accepted at Lyrical -- or are you still trying to decide if you'd like to write them? In which case, my campaign comes to your doorstep -- well email address...well blog post, whatever -- but I'm more than willing to be encouraging of those other stories!

Hi Jen,

Glad to hear I have a supporter for Doctor Psycho's story since it is over half way written... lol

The working title is VOW OF SILENCE and I have been invited to submit it to Lyrical...

However, I don't usually talk about books in series too much until its accepted...

So cross your fingers and toes. I should be able to get it submitted by summer:)

And the best campaigning effort you can do, Jen, and other readers...is to tell everyone how much you love the Chronicles of Surrender... and get your friends to buy the book, or buy a copy for friends for their birthday, or get conversations going in chats and on blogs... because a high number of sales go over big in promoting series continuation:)

Well I think I've got you covered there then.

I actually have purchased copies for my friend. LOL. And trust me when I say this is something I do not do regularly -- if they want a book they can buy it, right? But I just couldn't resist with books 1 and 2 in this series (And they LOVED them, of course).

Oh, and I always forgot to identify myself because I tend to run around the internet under my real name but I write reviews for Dark Diva Reviews under Jae.

So, yes, spreading the word is NOT a problem. I've become a HUGE fan of your work -- complex, consistently edgy, always engaging, emotional (character driven emotions, not just for the reader's benefit) and thought provoking -- what more could a reader ask for.

I am SO happy to hear about Dr. Psycho -- fingers and toes definitely crossed. :)
